The Red Lion, Handcross

The Red Lion is a charming little pub located in Handcross, West Sussex. With impressive original beam structures and cosy corners, this space has been given a warm touch of colour to enhance its natural country appeal.

This pub had a natural curb appeal, just a lick of paint and new signage was needed to liven up the exterior. The bar area is warm and inviting. Lavender buttoned sofas are nestled around a large open fireplace, complimented with deep green metro tiles. Intimate dining nooks are wrapped around the original timber beams, with fluted fixed seating upholstered in elegant olive and navy velvets together with complementary floral stools and cushions.

The VIP benefits from the other side of the open fire, with greens and lavender hues carrying through into the space. A textured feather wallpaper provides some opulence and class.

The main dining area is filled with warmth. Plum velvets and deep green leathers. A dusty pink paint covers the wall panels and a large navy fixed seat tucks around the corner, opposed by leafy patterned chairs and lit by characterful brass pendants. A large, oval table is surrounded by delicate pink chairs, catering for larger groups. Varying ceiling heights add drama to the space, with teal accents sitting between the timber beams.
