The White Hart, Harrogate
Our first project for the highly regarded HRH Group saw JMDA transform The Fat Badger restaurant space from a fairly standard hotel restaurant offering to a much swankier up-scale affair.
The metamorphosis was achieved via the use of moody heritage wall colours which frame custom-made wallpapers arranged to form a country scene ‘storyboard’ tableau, together with glitzy chandeliers, marble topped waiter stations and opulent drapes. The whole ensemble creates a sumptuous fusion of Metropolitan/Continental ambience in which diners can indulge themselves and forget the outside world for a while.
The adjacent corridor areas were given a similar treatment and now afford a moody and sensual journey from Reception to the Restaurant and Bar spaces. Walls are painted in Zoffany Grape and are hung with artwork lit by candlelight. The corridor is a place which guests can relax rather than just being a transition space and now provides valuable additional revenue for the client.
Toilets were not left out of the glamorous transformation and feature bold iconic wallpapers with rich complementary paint colours, enhanced lighting and vanity units.
