The Botanist, Bristol
The Botanist is one of the jewels in M&B's Mandarin brands. It nestles among the other smart Georgian properties in Berkley Square, Bristol and is popular with tourists and workers seeking rest and relaxation after the exertions of the day.
JMDA implemented the brand with a liberal sprinkling of glitz and glamour via metallic effect ceiling papers, rich glossy large-scale tiling to the bar front and brushed brass details. Citrus colours abound in a combination of floral geometric and vivid one-colour upholsteries punctuating the interior with vibrancy and warmth.
A secluded walled courtyard space was also given a premium contemporary overhaul and features a huge retractable canopy, premium quality furniture and timber planters painted in muted heritage colours creating an oasis in the midst of the city.
