The Fox & Hounds, Northampton
This premium country pub and eatery in the heart of Northampton is housed in a picturesque grade 2 listed building and showcases many of its original features in the new design. An eccentric and full-bodied environment featuring a deep colour palette and calming accents of cognac have been used to create a sophisticated space that is appreciative of authenticity yet not shy of dramatic eye catches.
Upon arrival, guests are greeted with rustic timbers, earthy undertones and feature panelling. Fringed pendant lights hang over the bar servery and add charm to this character building. The bar features deep walnut joinery with refined brass detailing & meshwork and creates a central hub around open log fires, plush velvet seating and cosy whiskey corners.
A new garden room extension to the rear of the property has been added for guests to enjoy all year round; whether its retracting the new-bifold doors to enjoy the summer heat or cosying up in chunky knit blankets in winter. Cluster walls of eye-catching artwork have been scattered around the space and form a talking point in each area. The refined details of metallic trims, hand stitching and well-formed whiskey walls are influenced by the finishing notes of red wine; truffle, dark chocolate and a generous hint of spice.
