The White Horse, Maidstone
Traditional architecture and modern decor come together at the White Horse in Maidstone, creating a relaxed and elegant interior that's true to its rustic roots.
JMDA set out to make use of the White Horse’s open, airy layout and create a refined pub and dining experience. The main bar area features an impressive carrara marble bartop, complemented by neutral tones that brighten the space. Natural light is abundant here as it is throughout the pub: the dining area’s vast windows brighten grey walls while preserving a stylish contrast of light and dark. Importantly, the pub’s scheme was designed to work with original wooden beams, and preserve the rustic charm of this historical building.
